Matris Steering Dampers feature high grade titanium bodies, stainless steel shafts and CNC'ed aluminum hardware. They are adjustable for the damping using a large wheel on the main body of the damper. The dampers are speed sensitive, which means you do not have to have them wound up to the max for them to work. They react to sudden movements by automatically increasing their damping, but remain easy to move at low speeds. Matris steering dampers are available in two different specs/models: TYPE 3 (M3) - Titanium body, light alloy external reservoir for compensation of fluid expansion, coaxial adjuster (13 settings) on damper body, One Piece piston rod. SPEED SENSITIVE DAMPING. M3 DAMPERS HAVE A BLACK or RED ANODISED RESERVOIR & DAMPER BODY CLAMP. Click here to view a larger image. TYPE 4R (M4R) - Titanium body, light alloy external reservoir for compensation of fluid expansion (on this model the reservoir is gas pressurised!!), coaxial adjuster (18 settings) on damper body, Ti-nitrided one piece piston rod.
